Ideas Generation #1

For this module, we are tasked to create a TVC which stands for Television Commercial (or TV Advert) on social life (problems, standings, etc).
My idea for now is an ad on public transport ethics (Commuter trains to be exact). Which still needs more critical thinking and creativity to be inserted in the raw idea.

My classmates and I were also given half a dozen of links about commercials for referencing purposes.

Corporate Identity Style Research #1

This is my research on other graphic designers' works.
Most of the work here have the same theme which is Retro. Either the colour scheme or the design itself.

Corporate Identity Product Proposal #1

Interactive Comic

What I had in mind is an original web-based comic with voice-over in every dialogue box, sound effect for each sound effect word, and including background music or ambience. Instead of traditional reading by pages, it will presented with panel-by-panel, so readers can catch up on the dialogues and the plot.

This project will be compatible with any devices with Internet connection, as for mobile devices it is recommended for iPad, iPhone and other smartphones.

Unique Selling Proposition
A web-comic with full dialogue voice-acting, sound effects, ambience sound and even background music for a new enhanced comic reading experience.

Problems

Some of the readers may not accept voice-over for comics as they prefer that comics should be for reading not listening. While some prefers that comics are better as a book, with every pages made by papers not hosted on the Internet. Another problem that I'm facing is the sound effect used may or may not be too loud and thus, shock the readers.

Solutions

There will options to change the volume of the dialogue, sound, and music/ambience or mute it down all together. The reasons it is hosted on internet rather than by books is because one of my main concern is environmental issue. I'm supporting paper-free environment to maintain and even increase the amount of trees left on Earth.

Corporate Identity Product Proposal #2

Brightness Reducer Glasses

This indoor glasses function is to reduce the brightness our eyes receives from LCD Monitors (e.g. PC, laptop or TV). It also comes with manual brightness receiver slider on the side of the glasses, to control the amount of dimness according to your own likeness.

This glasses requires charging before use to make sure the battery life is sustained for longer hour of usage. It can easily be recharge by plug in the USB port wire included on the left side of the glasses to any empty USB slot with electrical current.

Problems

There is already a program for Windows that allows users to reduce the brightness of their monitor. Another problem that I am facing is how to allow persons with shortsightedness to use this glasses. The biggest problem is regarding health issue. Even though the goal is to reduce the brightness we receive from our monitors, but it is dangerous if over exposed to the glasses lenses... or so I've been told.

I did not come up with any solutions for this idea.
